Water damage, pet stains, gaps wide enough to lose a quarter. We weave new boards in seamlessly — you won't be able to spot the patch.
Water leak from the dishwasher. Pet stain that won’t sand out. Heat register pulled up at the wrong angle. A board that’s gradually pulled apart from the next one over the winter.
The hard part isn’t replacing boards — it’s making the patch invisible once it’s stained and sealed. We pull the damaged section, weave new boards in from a salvage stockpile or fresh matching wood, blend the cut lines so they vanish into the existing pattern, and feather the stain across the seam.
When the original floor still has finish to match, a localized patch is often perfect. If the floor is also generally tired, we’ll sometimes recommend doing the patch plus a refinish of the whole room — fresh stain across new and old wood at the same time is invisible by design.
Severe water damage (cupped, crowned, or rotting boards) often requires a full board run-out, replacement, and re-install. We’ll tell you which scenario yours is during the estimate — and won’t take on a project we can’t finish well.
Waterproof, kid-proof, dog-proof. A great choice for kitchens, mudrooms and basements — installed with the same craft as our hardwood floors.
Bring tired oak, maple or pine back to life. Match an existing room or pick a new stain color. We will have your floors looking brand new.
Sand and refinish existing stairs or install brand-new treads and risers. We don't paint risers — but we'll point you to someone who does.
A walnut border around the fireplace. A picture-frame around the dining room. The kind of detail that makes a Delco home feel custom-built.
No high-pressure sales call. No upsell. Just a written estimate, from the same family who'll do the work.
